We are almost a quarter of the way through the season and what is clear is that Haland is a must and he is turning into a set and forget Captain. I’m falling behind as I keep going Salah. But how are the ownership stats looking like.
Ownership
Haland is pushing closer to 85% ownership, Interestingly KDB and Kane who are the second and third highest scorers are further down the list than you might expect.

Lets look at KDB & Salah, we can see they swapped in terms of ownership. Both premiums but it’s fair to say KDB is becoming a better value for money midfielder. The lack of decent returns is affecting managers and they are showing a lack of trust by getting rid of salah.

Going back to the forwards it looks like this in terms of ownership. Kane has been steady. Jesus has dropped and Haland has gone up.

But what about other midfielders. Son dropped but the hattrick peaked peoples interest but not by much. Bowen is not showing the signs of last season but he did get a return last time out. K’ski along with Spurs in general are not doing so well so his ownership has dropped, but Maddison has jumped. Leicester had a good win and maybe their fortunes have turned.

How bad are teams
Ive been playing with some stats based on how bad opponents are. This dashboard gives me a single view of certain stats. Bottom left shows how many FPL points were conceded. Lets look at the top two for conceded points in more detail.

Bournemouth have conceded the most points overall and the most points in a single game week, and they have Leicester next. Haland got his worst return against Bournemouth in GW2, only 5 points where as Firmino got 22 points. 9 players have got double digit returns.

Southampton are up there as well for most FPL points conceded. How will Haland & Co do this weekend agasint them. 6 players have got double digit hauls against The Saints. Interestingly K’ski got 13 points

Weekly Points – Double Digit Hauls
I’ve looked at how many players have returned double digit hauls so far. A few have two Haland has 4, He’s a must have. MacAillister has three, again showing that Brighton is a team in form.

If we look at a few Brighton players and Drill down, we can see they got double digit hauls against some good teams. Trossard with his Hattrick against Liverpool was impressive.

Defensive options
One question I keep going back to is ‘Big at the back’, is this still a thing? Usual suspects in the list for double digit hauls, but what about Reece James?

Chelsea Defenders
If we look at the Chelsea defender’s we can see steady points but nothing special yet. When will James be unleashed?

The Big Game (Arsenal v Liverpool)
So the big question is will salah haul against an inform Arsenal? Looking at the weekly points we can see it may be a close game. The battle of Firmino v Jesus or Saliba v TAA or Salah v Martinelli. Hope its not a 0-0 after all this.

Whats next
The new data model is in place so now I can concentrate on the outputs. Let’s see what insights I can get from this data.
