Onto Game Week 9

The international break has come and gone and now we can concentrate on GW9.

Transfers Up

Salah has been the most popular player to bring in, his recent return and a good run of fixtures has meant the faith is back with him. Watkins has pretty much returned in every game week and this is proving him to be a good asset. Only two players in the top 25 are flagged as amber.

With Robertson injured Tsimikas could be a good bet.

Transfers Down

Most of the players who are being transferred out are flagged but with a decent run of games Man United players are in the mix. Rashford is No 4, Bruno is No 12. These are Net transfers. Haaland is up there as well, are people losing the faith?

Saka is at No 2 and he has had a decent return in the last four game weeks.

Player Form

Looking at the form guide Trippier is leading the way followed by Watkins, both of whom appear on the most transfers in.

Teams to Target

Four teams have conceded over 400 FPL points so far. The fixtures for these are;

Sheff United v Man United

Bournemouth V Wolves

Brentford V Burnley

Forrest v Luton

If it goes to form then the managers who transferred out Bruno & Rashford may regret that. It could be an interesting game week.

But what about the AI question. I’m asking AI this question each game week to see how it responds.

Question – Best 6 players to pick for GW9 in FPL

Answer –

Here are some of the best players to pick for Gameweek 9 in FPL:

  1. Kieren Trippier (£6.9m) – Newcastle United: Kieran Trippier has five assists for the season, which have all come in the last three matches1He has now created the most chances (27) and has the highest xA among defenders1Newcastle United have a good fixture in Gameweek 9, as they welcome Crystal Palace to St James Park1.
  2. Erling Haaland (£14.0m) – Manchester City: Erling Haaland has eight goals and one assist this season, but has blanked in the last two1He still has the highest xG (7.86) in the league and we know he will be back to scoring sooner rather than later1.
  3. Heung-Min Son (£9.4m) – Spurs: Heung-Min Son now has six goals in the league, with an xG of 3.2 and an xA of 1.821He is the second highest scoring midfielder in the game1.
  4. Richarlison (£6.7m) – Spurs: Despite playing only 45 minutes last time out, Richarlison was fourth best for NPxG2The Brazilian was extremely unlucky to be subbed off at Half Time, as Spurs were down to ten men2.
  5. Lyle Foster (£5.0m) – Burnley: If you’re ever looking for a player who is being overlooked and could well turn out to be a gem, that is Lyle Foster2We say that, not least because, the Burnley man has only blanked once in his six starts in the league2.
  6. Mohamed Salah – Liverpool: Salah is always a good pick given his consistent performances and Liverpool’s attacking prowess3.

Please note that these are just suggestions based on current performance and upcoming fixtures, and the final decision should be based on your judgement and understanding of the game.

If I change it to captain it responds with.
