Game week 1 deadline is almost here. Currently there are 5.71 million managers who have signed up, this number will increase greatly over the coming days I think.
Goalkeepers
6 Goalkeepers have ownership of over 10% and with last seasons top keeper down in 10th place on 7.4% , is his move putting people off.
Defenders
TAA who is quite expensive at £8 million has 21.7% ownership so far. Last seasons top defender is currently 2nd on 34.6% with Estupian in top spot on 52.1% . I suspect some of the current high ownership players like Bell could be based on price and he will play.
Midfielders
The top 4 midfielders for ownership are all under £9.5 million. Mitoma who comes in at £6.5 million is currently on 38.4% ownership. The other cheaper players are Eze on 17.1% and Mac Allister on 13.4% . Salah who was last seasons top Midfielder is currently 5th on 23.9% will this change?
Forwards
The forwards are are interesting position. Haland is on 86.5% ownership then Watkins on 24% but the next 5 are between 15% and 14.2% ownership. Kane is currently on 14.2% but is the on-off nature of his potential move putting people off. He outscored Haland for most of the season so if he stays he could be a great buy.
With some interesting transfer like James ward Prowse and Harry Maguire going to west Ham will we see a surge of managers going for them?
The next 24 to 48 hours will be great with numbers changing except Haland and will the ‘Salah-less’ teams decide to go for him? I think going Salah-less could be a bad choice.
Anyway lets see what happens int he coming days.
