FPL Stats

Onto Game Week 17

After some quick fire game weeks we have a few days before GW17 and a Friday night game. There have been some interesting results lately. Man City without a win in 4, Arsenal getting late goals to win and Aston Villa and Fulham being the inform team. After Man United getting player, Manager & Goal of the month they get beat heavily by Bournemouth.

But what do the stats looks like?

FPL points wise we can see the top 5 teams are not what you might expect. Fulham are free scoring and Everton have put a good run together.

If we look at the players it looks like this. Now the top 10 players are separated by 11 points and Haaland isn’t in the mix.

If we break those scores down into form we can see players like Jimenez have three goals in his last two games, Iwobi has three in his last 4 games. Fulham are a team to look at and with Newcastle next will they continue to score freely? Mind you Newcastle are at home so it might be a different game. Bournemouth have a decent few games so going for their players could be a good move.

Looking at current transfers and concentrating on the top 25 net transfers so far we can see Solanke is the top target and they are playing Luton. Luton have given Man City & Arsenal tough games but that was at Luton. Spurs players are also being bought in. I suspect some transfers are being done due to the blank for City and Brentford in GW18.

If we look at Chelsea, Man united, Man City & Arsenal only Palmer is in the top 25 targets, sitting at No17. Eight players are currently owned by less than 5%.

With European games being played this week it might be worth waiting for a late transfer, if you can afford to miss any price rises.
