23/24 Is almost here

Its almost August which means the first FPL deadline is almost here. So I thought I would look at what’s happening so far. Currently only 2.6 million managers have signed up, and I’m expecting 12 million plus so the next few weeks will be busy.

Looking at the early ownership its no surprises that Haland is owned by 86% of managers so far. Will this change if Kane stays in the premiership.

The next set of stats is based on Ownership so far this season and where they finished by rank and position based on last seasons points. So If we look at Saka we can see so far he is the most selected Midfielder and he finished as the 4th highest scoring midfielder last season, whereas Salah is the 5th most selected midfielder and he finished top scorer for Midfielders last season.

Interestingly Nkunku is the third most selected Forward so far, It also means that 43 forwards scored points last season.

Minutes per goals & Assists

I’m looking at going 3-5-2 this season so I’m looking at minutes per goals and assists to pick the best 5, but trying to get Haland and Salah and some decent other players is tough.

So if we look at the £6.5 million to £9.5 million we can see 8 out of the 10 most popular choices this season for midfielders are in that price range. Salah being over and Mac Allister is under at £6 million.
