So after weeks of build up GW1 has come and gone. All the hard work of picking the players to get us loads of points either worked out or didn’t but I think the first big question had an early answer. Haland v Kane, GW1 Haland won.
The transfers for that question is also showing a trend. If we look at Haland it looks like this.
kane is going in the other direction.
The defence is an area that people where going big. Lets look at how the defenders are showing as in terms of points and selections. The high selected players didn’t fair too well with the exception of Zinchenko. Schar at 2.1% ownership is looking like a good bet. Where are the Liverpool defenders?
In fact Zinchenko is rising at a fast pace.
But overall how did the first game week affect transfers, lets take a look at the date range 1st August to 8th August. If we look at the players coming into teams we can see a big movement on Danny ward, Zinchenko and Bailey.
Then if we look at players leaving teams we can see Perisic, Gazzaniga and Martial going.
At the time of writing there are 8.5 million managers signed up.
