Game week 12 and Haaland blanks again

Game week 12 came and went and I don’t think anyone was thinking Man City would get beat 0-4 by Spurs. It was also the start of the Ruben Revolution. For FPL players selling Haaland was something some are prepared not to do but having so much funds tied up in a player that has blanked for quite a few game weeks is still a move too far. Haaland is still up there for FPL points so should we panic? Salah getting eight double digit returns against three from Haaland and three from Palmer is probably what people notice, for me it suggest that Salah is the better captains choice if you have him.

If we look at how managers are reacting to Haaland’s recent run we see there is a movement from Haaland to Salah. Over the course of November its amazing to see the decline in one and the rise in the other.

But if we look at some XGi stats, 9 out of the top 10 are over performing, Saka and Salah are way above their XGi stats. Interestingly only Haaland is below his stats. Does this mean Haaland is due a return, it could be. Man City’s next Premier league game is against Liverpool who at times have looked bad in defence, I’m hoping he blanks again.
